Abstract

To develop the present work, the description of an anatomical defect of the nasal dorsum is made, an immediate sequela due to surgical resection of a tumor lesion with an approximate volume of 5cm. in diameter, for which the surgical technique planned for its anatomical reconstruction has been the use of a paramedian frontal rotational flap; we will make a description of the surgical technique, the advantages of what was chosen in comparison to other alternative techniques, indications and complications of the technique, results and follow-up of the case. Several surgical techniques have been described to reconstruct anatomical defects of the nasal pyramid depending on the site where it is located, since the surgical planning will depend a lot on the site to be reconstructed and the volume of the size of the defect, being able to be used from a closure by first intention, free grafts myocutaneous or with cartilaginous content, regional or distant rotational flaps; being all techniques duly described and developed in texts and scientific articles of reference to the surgical specialty.  We will make the presentation of the clinical case referring to this article, discussing the different treatment alternatives that could have been used, advantages and disadvantages of each of them based on review of articles referential scientists; the clinical case will be presented.
