Abstract

COVID-19 a rapid, sudden infection which has cut across all borders, boundaries because of which lock- downs were imposed brought the entire world to a standstill. Current pandemic affected various strata of the society right from the vegetable venders to even high-rise corporates. The nature of virus like its transmission through aerosol, saliva has posed a great threat to the dentists, thus the entire spectrum of dental fraternity has been affected. Government imposed lockdowns, social distancing became manda- tory and need of the hour which affected face to face contact such as teaching and training programmes, limited access to clinical learning in dentistry.
